Alright, let's dive into the details of this delightful card! I began by bringing the charming H2Hello insulated cup die to life using an array of colors from Cardstock Warehouse's Pastel Dreams Colorplan Cardstock. To add a touch of shimmer for the metal details, I incorporated the Silver Mirror paper, and for the straw I used the White Lessebo Cardstock. I assembled the adorable water cup, adding the layered "hello" sentiment for a sturdy, dimensional effect, and embellished it with delicate floral details. I layered the "hello" three times to give it stability.
Then, I die cut a 3 x 6 inch mini slimline panel from the Candy Pink Pastel Colorplan Cardstock, creating a sweet backdrop for my focal point. Next, I wanted to add some texture, so I embossed a piece of the White Lessebo Cardstock and trimmed it to 2-5/8 x 5-5/8 inches. To give it a soft, ethereal look, I gently blended Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide along the edges. For a subtle, iridescent shimmer that catches the light beautifully, I spritzed it with Royal Flush Solar Spray. For the inside of my 3-1/4 x 6-1/4 inch card base, I stamped a sentiment from the H2Hello clear stamp set in a soft baby pink ink, adding a sweet message to the inside. I then adhered the pink cardstock panel to the front of the card base, followed by the embossed panel. Finally, I attached the decorated water cup, allowing its rounded shape to create a charming 3D effect.
The Pastel Dreams line from Cardstock Warehouse really shines in this project, giving the card a soft, dreamy quality, while the Precious Metals adds that perfect little pop! I really love how this card turned out, especially the dimension and the subtle shimmer. I hope you're feeling inspired to grab your favorite Cardstock Warehouse colors and start creating
