DIY Halloween Wall or Mantel Sign

DIY Halloween Wall or Mantel Sign

Hey there, Crafty Friends! Kayla here from HoneyBee Paper Co.

It’s officially my favorite time of year and by far my oldest’s favorite holiday, HALLOWEEN! I mean, I really can’t blame him. All the fun family activities, the crisp cool air, and the decorations, and all the treats are a plus too!

So today on the blog, I am going to show you how to make a fun Halloween sign.

Let’s get into it!

SUPPLIES:

  • Cardstock Warehouse Cardstock Papers: Orange, Gumdrop Green, Purple, Razzle Berry, Quartz Stardream, Gold Stardream, Birch Wood Veneer, and Black Licorice
  • Wooden Board
  • Crafter’s Tape
  • 2-Way Zig Pen
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Cutting Machine

Framed Halloween Sign Supplies

To begin, I am going to start by opening up Design Space and finding the cut file for #MF850387 by Rob and Bob on Cricut.

I took a square image and added my dimensions of the wooden board I am using and placed it behind the cut image and resized so it will fit perfectly.

Once you have the sizing in place, choose your colors and begin cutting! For this project, I used both traditional and non-traditional halloween colors and I absolutely love how it turned out!

Now it is time to assemble! I am using both the 2-way zig pen and crafter’s tape to assemble these pieces together.

Once all the cut pieces are glued together, I am going in on the backside and adding dabs of hot glue to adhere the phrase to the wooden board.

And there we have it! An easy DIY Halloween sign!
