While I love giving out edible treats at Halloween, sometimes you need something special that isn't candy. Today I am making some adorable mini Halloween cards for the kids in my daughter's class using our Autumn Multi-Pack of papers. These are perfect colors for fall, Halloween, and Thanksgiving projects. Let's get started!
Supplies:
- Cardstock Warehouse Cardstock Papers
- Autumn Pop-Tone Multi-Pack
- Scissors
- Assorted Halloween Die-Cuts and Embellishments
- Assorted Halloween Patterned Paper
- Zig 2-way Glue Pen
- Scoring tools
The first thing I did was choose my papers and pair them with coordinating patterned papers from my stash. To cut my card bases and mats, I cut some papers to 8"x4" and coordinating mats in 3.75" squares. Then I cut my patterned papers into 3.5" squares. This will create beautiful layers on my cards. I scored my 8"x4" papers down the center to create 4"x4" folded cards.
Then, I paired my colors and patterns up and used my double-sided tape to layer my cards. You can make as many of these as you want.
I opened Cricut Design Space and chose some die-cut shapes to use on my cards. You can find my Cricut canvas with the images I used here. I chose some frames, pumpkins, ghosts, skulls, spider webs, words, bats, and tombstones. I found these images by just searching for keywords and the word "Halloween." I also cut some witch hat embellishments out of some patterned papers that I had in my stash.
Now it's time for the fun part.... decorating!! I used my card bases and my embellishments to make fun little scenes on each card. You can arrange these however you like using whatever embellishments you have on hand.
Here's what they look like when they are done! Aren't they cute? Now they are ready to give away!
