Floral Scrapbook Layout with Free Die Cut File

Hey there! It’s Kira and I am back to share with you a new scrapbook layout I made, using a custom cut file and gorgeous Cardstock Warehouse paper!

Supplies:

Chartreuse, Mid-Green, Candy Pink, and Bubblegum papers

I thought some of you may want this cut file for your own, so feel free to grab it from this link. I also have a video on YouTube sharing how to put it together!

To start this layout, I uploaded the .png file into Cricut design space. My everyday scrapbooking size is Life Crafted (which is similar to travelers notebook size) so I knew I needed my cut file sized smaller. The size I settled on was 4” tall. Then I separated the layers and changed the colors to approximately which color paper I would be using.

The colors I settled on are Chartreuse (for the smaller leaves), Mid Green (for the larger leaves), Candy Pink (for the flower base), Bubblegum Pink (for the flower center) and Pure White (for the outline). Depending on the weight of your paper, adjust your cutting machine settings accordingly. Did you know that Cardstock Warehouse can help you figure out your settings? Click here to find out!

Once all of my cut file pieces were cut out, I adhered them together with my go-to adhesive. I only used tiny bits of adhesive on the white outline so it gave the cut file even more dimension. Then, using Pure White as my background paper, I adhered the flower about ¾ on the top of the page, cut off the excess and adhered that portion at the bottom of my page.

The rest of the layout came together easily! I used some sticker books and some enamel dots from my stash to embellish the remainder of my page.

For the reverse side, I typed up my journaling in Word, added a digital paper to the background and turned up the transparency, then printed it out on Pure White.
