DIY Letter Board Valentine's Day Cards

Hi Crafty Friends! Kayla here from HoneyBee Paper Co back with you on the blog. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

To start the New Year off I decided to create a fun card that follows a popular trend...the Letter Board! We are all familiar with them and I am sure we have all used one, especially during the holidays, plus they are so fun and really let you be creative!

SUPPLIES:

Letterboard valentine cards supplies

This card is beyond easy! To get started, open a new project in Cricut Design Space (if you don't have a cutting machine, a scoring board and bone folder will work too, along with die cut letters or alphabet stickers). I created a 5” x 7” rectangle and then I attached evenly spaced score lines. I then used the “text” feature to add fun phrases.

I used each color from the Be My Valentine Pack for the letter board and then I used the Cherry Wood Veneer for the frame.

Once all the pieces are cut, it is time for assembly! Using the crafter’s tape, adhere the wooden frame to each of the colored “boards”.

And that's basically it! Now we can use the 2 way zig pen to attach the letters to create fun phrases.

Lastly, attach the letter board to a 5” x 7” card and ta da! Finished!
