Hey there Crafters! How is it Christmas?! 2021 has flown by and I’m ready for a fresh start, but not before the most wonderful time of the year!
There’s just something so magical about decorating for Christmas. My favorite part is our faux tree with traditional red and green ornaments and those magical twinkling lights. Just something about a lit tree at night. And I definitely feel like the dinner table is a close second and it should not be lacking in the holiday spirit!
Follow along as I show you how to make the most adorable Christmas table decor!

First, gather your supplies and head over to design space (if you don’t use design space, you can still do this project, see below for instructions!)
The images I used are from the “Merry Everything” image set on Design Space. I used: Santa Clause (#M1159FC4), Christmas Tree (#M115A202), Nutcracker (#M115A05B), and Reindeer (#M1159ED2). There are a few others from the set you could add too!
If you're using Cricut Design Space, you can find the project by clicking here.
If you don’t use the same program, or if you want to use other images, you can easily create a stand up figurine.
Go into the die-cutting program you prefer. Choose an image. I chose a Christmas tree. For this image, I took the base (the back of the tree) and welded a half circle to the bottom (if your image is more complicated, you can use the offset feature to create a base image). This allows the two images to be cut out as one piece. Next, I added two more half circles. When they are cut out, I will manually cut the slits so they can be assembled together. And then just assemble remaining pieces as needed.
And that’s it! You can essentially create any image and have it stand!
Next, cut out all of your image pieces.
All the bases of each image were cut in White Birch Wood Veneer. The rest are as follows:
- Reindeer: Paper Bag Kraft, Silver Mirrisparkle and Nightshift Blue
- Christmas Tree: Timber Green and Gold Metallic
- Nutcracker: China White, Blacktop, Gold Metallic and Cherry Red
- Santa: China White, Blacktop, Cherry Red and Silver MirriSparkle
Now, let’s assemble.
To assemble the bases, slip each piece together using the slits. And there we have it! Beautiful Christmas table decor!
Thanks for spending your crafting time with me today and can’t wait to see all of your table stands!
