Begin by cutting all the pieces from the linked Cricut file, modified from an available Cricut Access project. The turkey has several pieces, but I promise the result is worth its weight in gravy.
Next, score and fold your card base. I chose the gorgeous Colorplan Chartreuse to add an unexpected pop of color. Then, using an edge rounder, round the edges on the Rust card layer.
Using a stamp of your choice, stamp the Rust card layer. I purchased this ‘Le Jardin’ rubber stamp from Paper Source many years ago and it’s still one of my favorites.
Next, glue together your card base layers with tape runner, beginning with the Chartreuse base, followed by the Kraft layer, and finally the Rust layer. Then, it’s time to put together your little pilgrim turkey using liquid glue. It doesn’t look like much at the start, but each layer brings Tom Turkey to life.
With his festive pilgrim outfit and beak details, your turkey is dressed for a feast!
For the final step, glue your finished turkey image to the front of the card using liquid glue and tape runner. Your terrific turkey card is complete!
