Hello, crafty friends! I hope you're having a great day! Today, I'm so excited to share with you this quick and easy sweet bee card.
Supplies:
- Cardstock Warehouse Paper:
- White Lessebo Colours 100lb
- Lime Green Lessebo Colours 100lb
- Canary Lessebo Colours 100lb
- Purple Haze Lessebo Colours 100lb
- Pitch Black Lessebo Colours 100lb
- Gold Mirror 100lb
- Adhesive Tape
- Distress Oxide Broken China
- Blending Brush
- Waffle flower Sweet Daisy
- Spellbinders Postage Die
- My Favorite Things Cloud Stencil
- Waffle Flower Bee Die
- Waffle Flower Bee Day Stamp Set
- Honey Bee Stamps Honeycomb Die
First, I used the Waffle Flower Sweet Daisy Die Set to die cut the flowers from Purple Haze and Canary card stock. I then used Copic Markers V15 and BV11 to add shading to the flowers.
I then used Copic Markers V08 and YR15 to shade the center of the flowers.
Next, I used a Gelly Roll 10 pen to add highlights to the flowers.
Next, I used Waffle Flower Bee die to die cut bees from Canary and Pitch Black card stock. I layered them together with glue, then used Copic Markers V08 and YR15 to add shading to the bees. I also used the Gelly Roll pen to add highlights to the bees.
Using Lessebo White card stock for my panel, I created a cloud background with Distress Oxides Broken China and My Favorite Things Cloud stencil.
Next, I adhered the panel to a Gold Mirror postage panel, and then adhered the panel to an A2 4.25 x 5.5 inch top folding card base. I then positioned and adhered the flowers, bees, and honeycomb to the panel.
Finally, I used Waffle Flower Bee Day Stamp set to stamp the sentiment on the panel, making this card complete.
This adorable card is sure to brighten someone's day!
