 Fall Leaves Frame Supplies

I found this cute little frame on clearance for $1. I just love finding deals don’t you? The front part was not my favorite but I bought it anyway thinking I could perhaps use the back part!

This cherry wood veneer paper makes for a great background for the frame. I cut it to fit the inner frame which was about 5x5.

A little cheat I do when I want to add tiny letters but don’t want to glue each tiny letter is to cut it on adhesive vinyl. I used my cricut to cut these fall themed designs on brown adhesive vinyl.

I also cut the leaves on the Cricut.

Adhere the vinyl on the wood veneer paper and the leaf using a transfer tape, I like to use Contact paper because it does not rip the cardstock.

To add a little shimmer and some details to the leaves I used LuminArte Twinkling H20’s.

It’s used just like a watercolor but they are shimmery. Paint the leaves and add veins.

Once your leaves are dry, we are going to build a wreath around the wording.

I used some crafty foam tape to pop up some of the leaves.

Use adhesive tape to stick the wood veneer on the frame. Choose a tape that doesn’t have a super strong hold if you plan to re-use the frame again for another seasonal project. That way you are able to remove it easily.

Here is what the finished wreath looks like. I love the texture and colors together.
