Hi everyone, I hope you are ready for a really cute Christmas project. I made three sweet Christmas mugs that are also treat holders. I hope you enjoy these as much as I do. Let’s get started.
Here's what you will need:
- Cardstock Warehouse Cardstock Papers
- Madero Beach
- Paper Bag
- Bright White
- Scarlet
- Rose Quartz
- Spearmint
- Chocolate
- The Greetery: Hug in a mug Stamp/Die, Hug in a mug saucer, Hug in a mug sweet treats
- Assorted Inks
- Gold/White Embossing powder
- Glossy Accents
- Die Cut Machine
- Liquid Glue
I started by die cutting the Mug in a Hug elements. For the mugs I used: Scarlet, Bright White and Rose Quartz. For the Saucers I used: Scarlet and Bright White. For the Cookies and S’mores I used: Madero Beach, Paper Bag, Chocolate and Spearmint.
I decorated the mugs and saucers by stamping images from the Hug in a Mug stamp set. I also used Gold and White embossing powders on the Scarlet cardstock to make the stamps really pop!
I assembled all of the mugs, saucers, cookies and s’mores. I then stamped the coffee design with brown and tan inks. These will go into the mug and lift up to hide the treats inside.
I adhered the mug to the saucer, then added all the goodies to the mugs. I added paper straws, glitter, sprinkles, and marshmallows. There is also a steam die cut added to one of the mugs. I then glued the cookies and s’mores to the saucers.
And there you have it! These are a perfect little "treat" to leave on a friend's porch. I hope you enjoyed this project and that you have a Merry Christmas!
