Fall is coming, and although I love autumnal colors, I can’t stay away from bright colors that make me think of summertime. Add a splash of color to your next party with this rainbow kite garland, which includes real wood paper for the rods! Assembly is super quick and easy and your kites will be blowing in the wind in no time. Up up and away, my friends!
Materials:
- The papers from Cardstock Warehouse Cardstock Papers
- Paper cutter
- Glue pen
- Cutting machine or scissors
- Baker’s twine
Steps:
- Using a cutting machine, cut out the shapes for each kite. If you do not have a cutting machine, simple cut diamonds and rectangles out with scissors. You’ll need the kite base, a thin strip of coordinating paper, and two mini bows.
- Cut thin strips of the wood veneer paper for the rods.
- Using the glue pen, attach the thin strip of colored paper to the back of the kite.
- Let dry.
- Once this is dry, flip the kite over and attach the two mini bows using the glue pen.
- Let dry.
- Glue thin strips of wood veneer paper to make it look like kite rods.
- Once all of your kites are dry, punch small holes at the top, and thread through the twine.
